Utah Beach


The 4th American Division landed at 6:30 am, without major losses (197 men), to cut the Cotentin peninsula and make the junction with the paratroopers of the 82nd and 101st Airborne.

Pointe du Hoc


The 2nd Battalion of American Rangers, under the orders of Colonel Reider, had the mission to take the German batteries.

Omaha Beach

The 1st and 29th American Divisions landed at 6:30 am and had the mission to break through the Atlantic Wall against the 352nd German Division.      

Gold Beach

On the morning of June 6, 1944, the 50th British div landed in front of Ver-Sur-Mer and Asnelles to liberate Bayeux, their objective of the day.

Juno Beach

The Canadians landed at 7:55 a.m. against the 716th German Div. These are the 3rd Canadian Div. Their goal of the day is Carpiquet.

Sword Beach

The British of the 3rd Div and the French of the Kieffer Commando landed at 7:30 am. Their main objective is Caen and make the junction with the paras of the 6th Airborne.
